To apply for summer study in Italy with Gonzaga-in-Florence

The Gonzaga-in-Florence program is open to all undergraduate students seeking a degree at a U.S. institution who meet the program requirements outlined below.

*Applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis until the application deadline. Once the deadline has passed,  you will need to contact the Study Abroad office as applications will be considered on a case by case basis and will be dependent on space availability and Italian visa restrictions. For this reason, you are encouraged to apply early.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

GONZAGA STUDENTS NON-GONZAGA STUDENTS
  • Fall and Year: March 1
  • Spring: October 1

  2. $50 non refundable application fee, payable to Gonzaga University
  3. Official transcripts form all colleges/universities
  4. Program approval form
  5. One (1) academic recommendation
  6. Mail to: Study Abroad, Gonzaga University, Ad Box 85, 502 E Boone Ave, Spokane WA 99258-0085


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • 2.8 cumulative GPA (through Spring 2010 for year and fall students; through Fall 2010 for spring students)
  • Junior standing (or higher at the start of the program; apply during your sophomore year. Engineering Track students: Sophomore standing at the start of the program; apply during your freshman year or early in the fall of your sophomore year.
  • All students must agree to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester with a maximum course load of 18 credit hours per semester (19 credits allowed if taking ITAL 101, 102, 201, or 202 which are four credits each).
