Thank you for your interest in the Gonzaga-in-Florence program. We welcome applications from both Gonzaga University students and students from other schools.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the program is filled. However, due to visa requirements, early application is encouraged. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the Gonzaga-in-Florence program is based on the following criteria:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA (through Spring 2008)
- Sophomore standing at the time of application
- Two recommendations
- Student Academic Services and Student Life clearance forms or program approval
- All students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester with a maximum course load of 18 credit hours per semester (19 credits allowed if taking ITAL 101, 102, 201 or 202 which are four credits each).
- All Gonzaga University students must declare a major before going to Florence.
- No previous study of Italian language is required for admission; however, all Gonzaga University students must meet the Italian requirement. All Gonzaga University students attending the year must complete ITAL 101 and ITAL 102 by the end of the program (Gonzaga University semester students must complete ITAL 101). This requirement can be fulfilled prior to or during your time abroad.
