Spring students attending the Christmas Tour must arrive in Florence by noon

Mandatory orientation for spring only students

National holiday: Epiphany (school closed)

January 8 Classes begin

January 16-18

Mandatory Rome Opening tour for spring only students

February 23-26

Mid-term exams

March 10

Last Day to withdraw

April 10-13 Easter holiday (school closed)
April 20-24 Final exams
April 25 All students must vacate pensione by noon

Non-Gonzaga students: check with your home institutions regarding school specific deadlines.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the Gonzaga-in-Florence program is based on the following criteria:

  • 2.8 cumulative GPA (through Fall 2008)
  • Junior standing (or higher) at the time of application
  • All students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester with a maximum course load of 18 credit hours per semester (19 credits allowed if taking ITAL 101, 102, 201 or 202 which are four credits each).
