|Principal Job Title and Responsibilities Senior Military Science Instructor and Enrollment Officer for Gonzaga University's Reserve Officer Training Corps Bulldog Battalion. Responsible for recruiting, retaining, contracting, developing, and commissioning future United States Army officers. Assists the Professor of Military Science by directing marketing, recruiting, and enrollment operations. Works closely with prospective students, parents, and friends in reference to application process for scholarships and school acceptance. Coordinates with Admissions, Visits, Financial Aid, and Registrar's offices. Teaches MSIII Cadets and coaches Ranger Challenge team.|
Maintains a positive and professional relationship with faculty, administrators, staff, students, and alumni at Gonzaga University, Whitworth College, and the Intercollegiate Center for Nursing; school districts; community colleges; US Army Recruiting Command units; Army units; and community members. Coordinates public affairs support for unit activities and achievement. Assists Military Science instructors and staff in training, teaching, mentoring, developing, motivating, and evaluating students.
