MSG Hudson

 SFC Hudson   Personal:  I was born on 1 October 1974 in Lindsay, California as the first born son of Rex and Dolores Hudson.  My father Rex has worked his entire life on ranches and in the timber industry and is now living with his wife Lorri in Porterville, California.  My mother, Dolores, served as a flight Corpsman in the United States Navy for 4 years and is currently a nurse.  She now lives with her husband Scott.  I lived in Porterville, California until I enlisted in the United States Army Infantry at the age of 17.  My brother Robert is 21 years old and works for the timber industry in Terra Bella, California.  My youngest brother, Sean, is 18 years old and recently graduated from high school and wants to attend trade school to become a carpenter. 
  I’m married to my wife Joy Hudson who recently retired from the United States Army Quartermaster Corps.  We have 4 children, Melissa (17), Christopher (15), Kaetlynn (13), and Breyhdunn (9).  My hobbies include shooting, dirt bike riding, and spending time with the family. 

Military Education:  Attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Benning, GA in 1992.  I have attended numerous schools throughout my 15 year career in the Infantry to include the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Long Range Surveillance Leaders Course, and Airborne school.

Assignments:  3rd Bn, 12th Infantry, Baumholder Germany serving as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle driver.  2nd Sdn, 11th Armored Calvary, Fort Irwin, CA serving as a Squad Leader.  1st Bn, 26th Infantry, Schweinfurt Germany serving as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle gunner and Infantry Squad Leader deploying to Bosnia in Aug 1996 and Kosovo in Jun 1999.  1st Bn, 9th Cavalry, Fort Hood, TX serving as a Platoon Sergeant.  1st Bn, 393rd Infantry, Fort Chaffee, AR, serving as a Long Range Surveillance Observer Controller.  Team 2-8, Multinational Security Transition Command-Iraq, Baghdad Iraq, serving as an advisor for Iraqi Special Police Commandos.  I now perform the duties as the Operations Noncommissioned Officer for Gonzaga University.

Goals:  To develop competent, confident, physically and mentally tough leaders for America’s soldiers.  Work to achieve a degree in Criminal Justice for a follow on career in law enforcement.
