CARPE AESTATEM
Seize the Summer at Gonzaga!
Do thermal socks, wooly scarves and sub-zero wind chills have you dreaming of summer? Good! Now is the perfect time to make plans to Seize the Summer at Gonzaga!
We say "Carpe Aestatem" — Seize the Summer — because Summer Session is a prime opportunity for you to make the most of those sunny summer months. Pursue work and internship opportunities, spend time with friends and family, and invest in your education, too.
With Summer Session, you can catch up on requirements while enjoying the camaraderie of smaller classes. You can focus on just one or two courses, or pick up an elective that just doesn't seem to fit into your academic-year schedule. You can also enjoy all the recreational opportunities Spokane and the surrounding area have to offer when the weather is warm.
Gonzaga University offers courses in three Summer Sessions — two 6-week sessions and one 12-week session. For 2010, Summer I runs from May 17 to June 25, Summer II runs from June 28 to August 6, and Full Summer runs from May 17 to August 6.
Summer Session courses aren’t just for Gonzaga students. Classes are open to students enrolled at other colleges and universities, as well as those from the community who value lifelong learning.
Courses spanning the curriculum are offered at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Most Summer 2010 courses will be posted to Zagweb by January 5, so take a look and check back often — courses continue to be added.
Undergraduates, take advantage of the tuition discount! Cost per credit is nearly 30 percent less than during the academic year. See Facts & Figures for details.
You could be qualified for financial aid. Visit the Summer Financial Aid page to find out more.
