ACADEMIC SEARCH PREMIER DATABASE

Academic Search Premier provides full text articles from over 4500 journals, as well as article citations and abstracts from its 8250 indexed journals.  Academic Search Premier is a good place to start when researching nearly any topic, because the contents of the database span almost every academic discipline.
Scholarly journal articles are not the only type of document you’ll find on Academic Search Premier.  The database allows you to search within books, magazines, newspapers, and educational reports.  You can also search for specific types of documents, such as bibliographies, book reviews, case studies, directories, editorials, literary criticism, obituaries, poems, product reviews, recipes, short stories, and speeches.  You can limit to one or a few types of publications and document types by selecting the desired categories in the “Publication Type” and “Document Type” drop-down menus in the “Refine Search” section.
