1 . When is the application deadline?^

We are asking that students submit their application, application fee, and a $500 non-refundable deposit by March 3, 2008.  Please contact Amber McKenzie for more information: mckenziea@gonzaga.edu.

2 . What airport should I fly into?^

Florence Italy Airport (FLR)

3 . What day should I arrive?^

Check in to the hotel/homestay is: Sunday, June 15, 2008.  Class begins Monday, June 16.

4 . What day should I plan to depart Florence?^

The Hotel is reserved for Teaching in Tuscany students until Saturday, June 28, 2008 

5 . Where can I look for tickets to Florence?^

6 . What is the name of the Hotel where students are staying?^

Hotel de la Pace.  Website: www.hoteldelapace.com

7 . Where is Hotel de la Pace located?^

Via Lamarmora 28, 50121 Florence, Italy - only three blocks from the school!

8 . Can I live with a host family?^

Yes!  We can arrange a host family for you, but we must have enough time to secure the housing.  If you are interested, please let Amber know immediately!  mckenziea@gonzaga.edu

9 . How can I get from the airport to Hotel de la Pace?^

We recommend a taxi from the airport (about 15 euros). 

10 . What can I expect in terms of workload?^

Your professors, Dr. Mary Jeannot and Henry Batterman, will set up a Blackboard site for these types of curriculum questions prior to your departure!  The Blackboard site will begin June 9, 2008.
