Housing Options for Gonzaga University International Students

On-Campus Option
If you are interested in living in a dormitory or apartment on campus with an American roommate, please print out and complete theGonzaga Residence Living Application/Agreement (below). To secure housing, you must submit your signed application and a $200 housing deposit. Students are charged by semester and the costs range from $800 - $1,000 per session or $1,600 - $2,000 per semester.
Best suited for students 21 and under who want constant contact with American students, culture and activities.

Near-Campus, GU Affiliated Option (Mater Dei & Villa Maria)
All residences are located one block from the Gonzaga campus! The main Mater Dei residence houses up to 20 men and offers individual rooms with shared kitchens. Villa Maria accommodates up to 14 women and also offers private bedrooms, as well as laundry facilities, and shared kitchen. This option is perfect for students who want a quiet atmosphere, and prefer living alone (without a roommate).  Contact Diane Imes for more information: imes@gem.gonzaga.edu 
Best suited for students 21 and over who want a more quiet environment, as well as an American experience.
 

Homestay Option

Off-Campus Option
The International Student Programs office does not arrange off-campus housing, but will provide contact information to help with your housing search. Typically, you must pay a deposit fee (first and last month's rent). You will be asked to provide a Social Security number or Tax Identification number. Rent ranges from $400 - $600 per month. 
Best suited for students 21 and over, seeking a more independent living situation.
