Your Vote is Needed—Participate in the GSBA Fall 2008 Election!

This week is the start of voting for the Fall GSBA election, and the officers of GSBA want to get your opinion.  As graduates students you are members of the Gonzaga Student Body Association and have the opportunity to cast your vote.  The core of this election surrounds the choosing of the legislative branch of GSBA, the student senate.  This group of 26 elected students is responsible for addressing student concerns and drafting bills to present initiatives to the administration.  Two of these elected senators are graduate students. Please feel free to nominate yourself or another deserving student to serve in this role.  The two graduate students that receive the most write-in votes will have an opportunity to take office after completing filing documents.  The elected senators will serve in the GSBA Senate while concurrently serving in the Graduate Student Association (GSA) for the academic year.

Voting began on Zagweb on September 22nd but continues until Monday the 29th. Making your voice heard only takes a few minutes, simply log in at zagweb.gonzaga.edu, select “Gonzaga Ballots and Surveys,” select the ballot, follow voting instructions, and submit when you are finished.  If you have any questions about the fall election or referendum, please stop by the GSBA Office in Crosby 204.  We are excited to get your input and look forward to seeing a record number of graduate students voting in this election.

If you are interested in becoming a senator please contact Bobby Van Cleve, GSBA Attorney General at
