Office of Intercultural Relations

Welcome!

The Office of Intercultural Relations strives to increase diversity in the faculty, student and staff populations, assist in creating a catalyst for transforming the campus climate through a variety of activities and programs, and works with faculty members in academic skills unique to diversity education, including curriculum development and pedagogical reform, so that ultimately we are able to provide our students role models of social justice activism which better prepare them to live and work effectively in a multicultural society.

There are many educational opportunities, such as student leadership and professional development programs, cultural events, and community service outreach initiatives that are provided by the office.  Our staff seeks to support all students, faculty and staff by providing a safe, equitable, and inclusive academic and social climate.

Mission:

Our mission is to promote the Jesuit and Catholic ideals of social justice and service by nurturing the dignity of all people in creating an inclusive and generative multicultural academic community.

Please feel free to contact us for any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
