What We Do

Currently, the center provides educational resources such as books, magazines, videos, CDs, and brochures on local and national organizations, and a lounge/meeting space for students with a computer and cable TV/VCR.

We coordinate educational programming on issues faced by the LGBT community, provide opportunities for community engagement and service such as a high school LGBT mentorship program, and provide support for students who may be struggling with issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

In the coming year, we plan to implement a LGBT discussion group for students, faculty, and staff to socialize and support each other, coordinate spirituality programming in collaboration with University Ministry and the Vice President for Mission, and bring a national speaker to address the campus community on LGBT issues.

To sign up for our listserv, click here, or email the Center at glbt@gonzaga.edu.

Above all, the Resource Center serves as a safe space for students, faculty, and staff to find resources and support related to sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
