Karin Hilgersom has taught full-time since 1987 in the Spokane Community College Communication Studies Department, and currently serves as the Dean of Arts and Sciences there. She teaches part-time for Gonzaga University. Dr. Hilgersom has served as the Communication Studies Department Chair, the Association for Higher Education Vice President for SCC (1994-Spring 2002). In addition, she has been a WEA state appointee for various committees, was elected WEA Higher Education State Vice Chair, and served on the National Council of Higher Education Executive Committee (NEA NCHE). She participated as a delegate in the Mayor’s “Spokane One Summit on Prosperity” and has worked with community activists on a Living Wage campaign for Spokane—a long term endeavor in education and change.

- Dean Wells, Northwest Alliance for Responsible Media, CPP Community Programs Director, GSSAC’S Prevention Center
- Stephy Nobles-Beans earned her Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree in Humanities from Whitworth College, where she is employed at the Coordinator in Ministry and Multi-Cultural Affairs, Chaplain Services.
- Deanna Davis, PhD, author of the bestselling book, Living With Intention: Designing a Wildly Fulfilling and Remarkably Successful Life and owner of Applied Insight. Deanna earned her Ph.D. in Leadership from Gonzaga University and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington.
- Golie Jansen, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Eastern Washington University. She teaches Gender and Sexual Assault and Alternatives to Domestic Violence and is the director of a U.S. Justice Department Grant at EWU for Changing Campus Climate: Reducing Violence Against Women.
