The best test, and the most difficult to administer is:
more likely themselves to become servants?

Robert Greenleaf introduced his philosophy of Servant-leadership to organizations in the late 1960s. Thirty-five years later the concepts of servant-leadership seem to still be on the rise as academic and organizational leaders continue to appreciate the impact of Greenleaf's many very insightful and often prophetic writings. The seminar activities including readings from short books we provide that feature some information on the basics of Servant-Leadership and also stories and examples of how organizations implement the approach. There are also some items on the seminar website to read and review – powerpoints, diagrams, short papers, and video clips. The main readings are scheduled for early in the week, followed by posting to a discussion board on T or W, then other readings or reviews and most postings on Th and F. You’re invited to review other’s postings and respond on F and even Sat if needed – we want the seminar to be a discussion among the participants. There is no specific time when you need to be available – completely at your own schedule. |
