My husband and I are new "empty-nesters" having successfully delivered my daughter to Seattle University last week. My older son is a senior at the University of Washington. My husband also has 2 daughters who have already launched into adulthood and productive lives. I live in Renton, WA., just outside of Seattle.

I work for a transitional housing program for homeless families managing the human resources function. I enjoy golf, skiing, spending time with close friends and ALWAYS learning something new.

I believe with my whole heart that leadership is a way of being and that servant-leadership creates the potential to transform not only individuals, but also organizational life.
