Purpose of NPL Executive Director Roundtable Sessions:
* Provide an interactive discussion forum for peer executive directors to discuss common issues and challenges in leading a non-profit organization
* Build a peer network for non-profit leaders to serve as an exchange of ideas, solutions and support on an ongoing basis.

Description of this session:

As a non-profit executive director, do you dread the idea of strategic planning for your organization?  Is your strategic plan collecting dust on the shelf?  Do you have alignment with the work of your staff and the expectations of your board?  In today’s environment, every organization needs a clear roadmap to guide its strategies in achieving its mission.   Community stakeholders -- whether potential funders, elected officials or volunteers – require a clarity and understanding of what you’re trying to achieve.  Join your peers in discussing how effective and purposeful strategic planning can help you achieve your mission and vision.  Understand the importance of a sound strategic plan to raising funds and support in challenging times.

Hosted by the NPL Partners:
Leadership Spokane, Spokane County United Way, Inland Northwest Community Foundation, Avista Foundation, Gonzaga University
