Wellness for Life: Empowering the Mind, Body and Spirit!

BACCHUS Area 1 Regional Conference

April 4th and 5th, 2008
Gonzaga University Campus

Gonzaga University welcomes you to participate in the annual BACCHUS and Gamma Peer Education Network Area 1 Regional Conference April 4th & 5th in Spokane, Washington.  This year we are celebrating our Peer Educators and all of their hard work, dedication and commitment to wellness for life! Through their leadership, programs, presentations and example, they have empowered their peers to become educated, consider life changes, and make wiser choices for themselves that will benefit them through the rest of their lives!

Gonzaga University, founded in 1887, shares an educational philosophy with its 5,400 students that is based on the 450-year Ignatian model that aims to educate the whole person -- mind, body and spirit -- an integration of science and art, faith and reason, action and contemplation. At Gonzaga, "cura personalis," or care for the individual, is our guiding theme and one our peer education club, G+ (Gonzaga Peers Listening and Understanding Students) strives to achieve in all their endeavors.

Located in Spokane, Wash., Gonzaga's campus is situated on 108 acres along the beautiful Spokane River, within a 10-minute walk of downtown Spokane. Near Nature, Near Perfect is the cities motto!

Come be inspired to learn about best practices from around the region (Alaska, Oregon, Washington and Idaho), share ideas, gather resources and generally celebrate all of the efforts of Region 1’s Peer Educators!
