Annual Report: Tau Beta Pi recognizes the achievements of junior and senior students studying engineering and provides resources for members to further their education and career success. Senior class members are eligible to apply for Tau Beta Pi’s nationwide scholarship, and this year two members of our chapter received this award. In addition to the scholarship, members receive a handful of other benefits including: discounts on FE and PE exam prep material, an exclusive job board, automatic entry-level advancement of U.S. Government jobs, and other discounts on a variety of services.
This academic year a representative of the chapter traveled to Rhode Island to act as a voting delegate in the Tau Beta Pi National Convention. Two members of the chapter will also be traveling to Portland, Oregon in the spring semester for the District Conference. The chapter will be involved on multiple service events this semester including cleaning up the neighborhood with the Logan Adopt-A-Block program and providing service work at the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.
