Stick a note in the Suggestion Box, located in the Student Lounge, where it will be read and discussed by the Student Advisory Board at monthly meetings. You can leave contact information or send a note anonymously. Let your voice be heard.

Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory board meets monthly to discuss topics important to the School of Education student body. Dr. Sunderland attends all of our meetings.

Past endeavors:

Helped get a copy machine in the student lounge.
Helped create the comprehensive handbook provided to incoming education students and student teachers.
Reinstated the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society.
Organized meetings and discussions with the student body about undergraduate curricula.

The Student Advisory Board is comprised of students in education and certification programs who want to make positive contributions to the field of education and its students. The Board works closely with the Dean of the School of Education, by sponsoring events, surveying students, and addressing relevant issues. The SAB is accepting applications for membership and applications for positions on the Board. There are 4 Board member positions open for freshman students from the fields of Special Education, Physical Education, Elementary and Secondary Certification. If you are interested in joining or applying for one of the positions, please complete the attached application and submit to matkins@gonzaga.edu by October 24, 2008.
