KPMG Day of Caring Fall 2013

The KPMG Day of Service is Gonzaga Beta Alpha Psi's longest running service event. Over 60 students and professionals visited Vinegar Flats Community Garden to help the organization get ready for it's annual fund raising event. Students participated in a variety of tasks such as gardening, setting up for the function, and excavating land for expansion.

The PwC Day of Service was in conjunction with Northwest Harvest, one of the largest distributors of food to Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Students worked with professionals to help sort rice and assemble food packages for those in the area with need. PwC hosted a networking event at a local pizza place following the service.

At the JDRF Walk for the Cure, around 20 students assisted with the walk. Students participated in various functions: some taking photos for the organization, manning water stations and others helping out with the barbeque.

Students woke up early on a Saturday morning to team up with WSCPA and 2nd Harvest in Spokane. They worked to raise money for 2nd Harvest Thanksgiving.

At the Moss Adams Day of Service, Gonzaga students and Moss Adams professionals got together at the Spokane Boys and Girls Club to help paint the club. The Boys and Girls Club of Spokane is the 6th largest in the country and is growing quickly. The students played kickball with the professionals following the service event for a bit of fun.
