About Fritz Wolff
Born and raised in Spokane.
Attended University of Washington, graduated with business major with a focus on finance. Fritz’s dad founded The Wolff Company almost 70 years ago. Fritz learned the business along side his father.
From Spokane Fritz grew the firm for 40 years and is now the chairman of The Wolff Company. All 4 of Fritz and Jeanie’s sons are engaged in the company.
The Wolff Company is:
- A private equity practice
- Which invests about $1.5 billion each year acquiring and developing apartment communities primarily in the gateway cities of:
- Los Angeles
- Orange County
- San Francisco and the Bay Area
- Denver and
- The Northeast.
In addition, the Wolff Company makes mezzanine loans and provides preferred equity investments into apartment transactions for buyers and developers across America.
The Wolff Company has offices in:
- Boston, Mass
- Menlo Park, CA
- Scottsdale, AZ
- Spokane and Seattle, WA
- And Sun Valley, Idaho
Fritz has been actively involved in the Gonzaga University School of Business for 35 years, including as an adjunct professor both here in Spokane and in Florence.
For many of those years he has served on the University’s Board of Regents and Board of Trustees.
He recently finished a three year term as the Chairman of the Gonzaga Board of Trustees.
The entrepreneurship lecture is made possible through a permanent endowment established by the Pigott family to educate the next generation of global leaders.
