Dear Prospective Students,

Gonzaga's business programs challenge each student to be an active participant in what may be one of the most important life ventures that can be undertaken. We are committed to helping students acquire the knowledge and leadership skills that are essential for professional and personal success.

The School of Business Administration faculty is experiencing a renaissance in two distinct areas:  curriculum design and delivery and research leading to intellectual contributions.  We are blessed with a relatively large number young faculty who bring a wide variety of innovative ideas and topics in the various fields of business.  Their contribution to our curriculum, tied with more traditional offerings, give our growing student body a fresh and exciting exposure to business education.  In an environment encompassing economic uncertainty, global and emerging markets, entrepreneurial and innovative models, and production and financial analysis, a vast and challenging field of study is created for our students. 

The research and publications of the doctoral-qualified faculty is diverse across all business disciplines.  These faculty contributions, many conducted in collaboration with students, set the stage for case exploration and classroom dialogue, replacing the passive with the dynamics of student involvement and leadership. 

This transition, in its infancy, will continue to result in a more subject-integrated field of study with faculty serving as facilitators and mentors.  This educational evolution will be time-tested through measurement of outcomes, assurance of learning, and implementation of continuous improvements.
