Estudiantes de Gonzaga, disfrutando de la belleza de Espana, 1997-1998.

The Granada and Toledo Programs offer Spanish majors either a semester or academic year in Spain. These programs feature liberal arts courses taught in Spanish. Students live with Spanish host families and travel throughout the country. Admission to these programs requires three years of college level Spanish (with a GPA of at least 3.0) as well as approval from Gonzaga's Spanish faculty and the Studies Abroad Office.

Hear what some of the Granada participants have to say:

"Coming to Granada through this program has been the best decision of my life. The things I've learned from this program have been enriching and enlightening." --Eddie Meraz, Sociology Major

"For me, Granada has been so educational! I have seen so much art and learned so much about what I want my focus to be. It has taught me about dedication for what I enjoy doing. Educational value has also been found in meeting the people and experiencing the culture. I feel my view on the world around me has been expanded greatly." --Renee McArty, Art Major

"The experience has been of great value. I feel I have benefited more than most because my host family has been so inclusive. I have greatly improved my knowledge in all areas of the Spanish culture." --Matt Colley, English and Spanish Major
