A graduate of Gonzaga, Lisa holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in International Studies (1995), and an MA in Religious Studies: Interior Salish Plateau Tribes (1997). Although originally from Spokane, as an Air Force dependent and later as an adult, she has traveled and lived in several different states across the U.S. Her interests include the history and archaeology of women in world religions, and history of women in the western U.S. While at WSU, she worked as an archaeologist for 6 months at sites along the Snake River and in Southern Oregon, and she has also trained as an archivist in Foley Special Collections and at the MAC. At present, Lisa is a volunteer at the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum. Along with camping, hiking, and enjoying area lakes with her family, she studies about and explores historical and prehistorical sites across the region.
