Lisa Meyer, MA
Sr Faculty Ast, Mod Lang Gonzaga University Department of Modern Languages E. 502 Boone Ave. AD Box 44 Spokane, WA 99258 Phone: 313-6783 Office Location Office Hours MTWF 7:45 to 2:15 Lisa is the go-to person for Modern Languages. She is originally from Spokane, but as a military brat, every place feels like home to her. She is twice a GU graduate, with a BA in International Relations, and an MA in Religious Studies, with a concentration in Jesuit Missions and Interior Salish Plateau Tribes. As a grad student, she was house mother for the women's international student house. After graduation, she was employed at Duke University for 3 years, but Spokane with its mountains, lakes, and outdoor culture lured her back to the Pacific Northwest. Lisa's passion is archaeology and history, especially the western US, so she is often to be found exploring obscure archaeological sites around the region. She loves to camp with her family, especially Sullivan and Pend Oreille lakes. She also enjoys hiking, bicycling, and jogging. Loathing snow, she hibernates in the winter. |
