About Gonzaga’s Chemistry Department: The Chemistry Department has 9 tenure-track appointments, 1 non-tenure-track permanent position, and a freshmen chemistry lab coordinator. In addition, the Chemistry Department has support from two technical (stockroom) personnel and a secretary shared with the Biology Department. Gonzaga has a strong science program directed entirely at undergraduate students. The Chemistry Department typically graduates 8-12 majors per year, most of whom complete the ACS accredited BS program (which includes a biochemistry track). Job Description: GONZAGAUNIVERSITY invites applications for a one year, non-tenure track position beginning August 2007 pending funding. Teaching responsibilities will include general chemistry lecture and laboratory. A Ph. D. degree in chemistry or biochemistry is required.
