Description of Programs The Department of Nursing offers two degrees, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, and the Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing. Your plan of study will be determined by your entry qualifications. Programs are dynamic and changes occur periodically. The BSN for individuals seeking initial licensure as a Registered Nurse
Master of Science in Nursing
The MSN for RNs with a baccalaureate degree and a current RN license (MSN) The PMCN is for a nurse with a master's degree in
nursing and a current RN license. Several specialty areas are offered
in the PMCN program
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) will conduct a scheduled 10-year continuing accreditation review of all Gonzaga University Department of Nursing programs (BSN, MSN, PMCN) on October 21-23, 2009. Written and signed third party comments will be accepted by the CCNE until September 18, 2009. All comments submitted to the CCNE will be kept strictly confidential. |
