Residency Teacher

ADD-ON ENDORSEMENT

After you complete the required course work, apply to add the endorsement to a valid Washington certificate.

Once you have submitted your completed application including all of the required documents, your name will be forwarded to OSPI for a new certificate. In the interim you will be mailed a temporary 180-day permit with the new endorsement.

RESIDENCY REISSUE

Once you have completed Section I, ask the school district where you have completed provisional status to complete Section II. There is no fee for this renewal and the form needs to be mailed directly to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

RESIDENCY RENEWAL

Teachers currently enrolled in Gonzaga's ProCert Program may apply for a 2-year residency renewal if their Residency Teacher Certificate will expire before they complete their ProCert Program.
