Welcome to the Department of Religious Studies

The aim of the religious studies curriculum is to help students develop an informed, reflective, critical, and articulate consciousness of their own developing faith in relation to the development of the modern world. This aim is pursued through the study of scripture and Christian tradition and their application to major areas of contemporary life. The Department of Religious Studies offers courses in the areas of scripture, historical and systematic theology, Church history, moral theology, spirituality, and ministry. The Department has both graduate and undergraduate programs in Religious Studies.
