"Lysistrata" by Aristophanes, translated by Nicholas Rudall
The women of ancient Greece refuse to make love until their warring husbands make peace, as Aristophanes whips up a bawdy whirlpool of war between the sexes and the folly of war in a farce that makes "South Park" look like Sunday school.
